"Look before you leap."
-Anonymous
I am attributing this quotation to the accident that happened to me lately at Araneta Coliseum. There was a religious activity held at Araneta and as the 1st Vice President of the Catholic Women's League (CWL), I held all the tickets of my members belonging to the Diocese of Antipolo. Upon arriving at the Green Gate of the Coliseum, I saw a long queue of CWL ladies in blue uniform. Thinking that they all belong to my diocese, I immediately alighted from the taxi not noticing the low single step landing to the main road. I sprained my right ankle and was picked up by the guards and seated on a wheel chair.
I should have looked down to see what I was stepping at so the accident could not happen. But a positive thing happen -- my Upper Box ticket was upgraded to Patron. The good thing was I was seated in front of the stage, 3rd row from the front. Had I noticed the step, I would not be allowed to occupy the patron seat.
